More than 50 children take part in Theatretrain’s first week of summer stage school

ASPIRING young actors and actresses from across the region have been treading the boards at Chester’s Forum Studio.

More than 50 children from the ages of five to 14 attended the first week of Theatretrain’s Mamma Mia summer school.

The youngsters have been enjoying classes in singing, dancing and acting while working towards a production that they will stage for family and friends at the end of the week.

Theatretrain has three more themed weeks planned for the rest of August.

Next week’s theme will be Glee which will be followed by Wicked and then West End to Broadway will be the final week starting on August 22.
