JUNIOR pupils at The King’s School made their debut performance on the school’s new theatre stage.
The Year 6 students presented Kane and Kane’s Archibald’s War at the Vanbrugh Theatre on Old Wrexham Road.
Almost 70 pupils were involved in the play about the life of evacuees during the Second World War.
The audience travelled with the evacuees on their train journey from Euston to Cheshire and watched them ‘Dig for Victory’ on a farm.
The production, directed by Vanessa Gibson with musical director Barbara Roberts was part of the junior school’s 100th birthday celebrations.
