A CHESTER school has celebrated 100 years of existence in style.
Pupils of The King’s School Junior School, Wrexham Road, enjoyed a fun day to celebrate a century in education.
The youngsters enjoyed games including Splat the Teacher and face-painting, a barbecue, a balloon race and a tombola.
The school’s new playground activity trail was then officially opened by the youngest pupil in the junior school, Joshua Korb, seven, of Hawarden, and one of the school’s oldest former pupils, John Hulmston.
Celebrations conclude with a performance of Kane and Kane’s Archibald’s War.
