Firefighters battle to free trapped motorist after accident in Great Sutton

FIREFIGHTERS battled to free a motorist who was trapped in his car after a road traffic collision.

At just after noon on Friday, July 8 emergency services were called to Sutton Way, Great Sutton, Ellesmere Port after two cars collided and a driver became trapped.

Crews from Ellesmere Port and Neston battled to free the man who was later taken to the Countess of Chester Hospital suffering from spinal injuries.
