Kune Kune piglets from Cheshire Farm Ice Cream draw crowds at Cheshire Show

IT WAS business as usual for Cheshire Farm Ice Cream at the County Show, despite a fire breaking out at its Tattenhall premises last week.

Staff kept their cool as grey skies and rain failed to curb visitors’ appetite for freshly made ice cream.

The stars of the show were a litter of month-old Kune Kune piglets from the farm’s animal corner. The rare breed, known for its love of human company, drew animal-lovers to the National Farmers Union marquee.

Emergency services were called to the Ice Cream Farm last Thursday after a generator behind the outside toilets went up in flames.
