Aldford School raises £2,400 for Save the Family

ALDFORD schoolchildren have stepped out for charity.

The junior and infant departments of Aldford School, part of Abbey Gate College, embarked on a sponsored walk across the Duke of Westminster’s Eaton Estate to raise funds for Save the Family.

The younger children walked just over a mile with the older children walking three miles to the Estate’s obelisk and back.

A total of £2,400 was raised which will go toward the college total target of £20,000.

The 120 pupils who took part would like to thank His Grace, Duke of Westminster for permitting them access to his estate.
