Upton High School pupils raise £1,200 for Clatterbridge Cancer Research with Snowdon climb

SIX Upton High school pupils are on top of the world after raising £1,200 for charity.

The Clatterbridge Climbers – six friends in Year 10 – scaled Snowdon on Sunday for Clatterbridge Cancer Research.

The Wirral-based centre helped two of their mothers who had treatment for breast cancer.

The boys will be presented with gold ties by their school, the highest accolade a pupil can receive.

Mike Georgeson, who accompanied the boys on the trip said: “We had an absolutely brilliant day and it was a real pleasure for me to walk with six lovely lads and have such a laugh with them all.”
