Hammond School students accepted by National Youth Theatre

TWO talented Hammond School students have been accepted by the country’s top youth theatre.

Akshay Gulati and David Edwards will work with The National Youth Theatre of Great Britain this summer.

Akshay will join the three-week training course in London whilst David, who undertook the same training last year, has been cast in 2011 summer season.

The company has nurtured many of the UK’s stars, including Daniel Craig, Helen Mirren, Matt Lucas and David Walliams.

Hammond School principal Maggie Evans, said: “I would like to congratulate both Akshay and David on the achievements.”
