Chester schoolboys triumph in arts competition

ABBEY Gate School in Hoole triumphed at the Chester Competitive Festival of Performing Arts.

Eleven-year old Theodore Tollet was awarded the Chorister’s Cup for his outstanding performance in the class for Boys’ Treble Solo, singing Close Every Door from the musical Joseph and His Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat.

Daniel Badeli, 11, Henry Powell, 10, and Tom Jackson, eight, also competed in the class, earning certificates of merit.
