Miles of Smiles annual gala night at Chester pub

CHRONICLE-backed children's charity Miles of Smiles staged its annual gala night at Saltney Tavern.

The evening featured finalists of Dee's Got Talent, Flintshire's Got Talent and the Miles of Smiles Piper X-Factor competition.

Topping the bill were Beatles tribute band, The Backbeat Beatles.

A buffet was enjoyed by a packed audience and local businesses provided a range of raffle prizes.

A £100 cash prize was won in a stand-up bingo game and management and staff at Saltney Tavern worked hard serving an appreciative audience till 1am.

The raffle and bingo raised more than £700.
