AN 89-YEAR-OLD woman from Neston has died in hospital following a four-car collision almost three weeks ago.
Police were called to The Village in Burton just after 4pm on Friday, May 6 after a Hyundai, Chevrolet, Landrover, and Mini had been involved in a collision.
The woman, who was a passenger in the Hyundai, was taken to the Countess of Chester Hospital where she died yesterday (Monday, May 23) as a result of her injuries.
Two men were taken to Arrowe Park Hospital where they were treated for non-life threatening injuries and subsequently released following treatment.
Any witnesses to the collision are asked to contact Chester Traffic Unit on 0845 458 0000 quoting incident 597 of May 6.
