More acts on the bill at Bolesworth Country show

DOGS and their owners are invited to put their best paw forward at the Bolesworth Castle Showjumping Classic Show.

As part of the event, from June 9-12, there will be a Classic Companion Dog Show.

The dog show, open to all dogs, will show two groups of classes – pedigree and novelty, and the prize-winning titles will include best dog in show, fancy dress, six legs and funniest trick.

There will be classes for gundogs, terriers, puppies, working dogs and many more. Entries open at 1pm on Sunday, June 11, with judging from 2pm.

Vet Bill Tute, from the Hampton Vetenarian Group, which sponsors the event said: “Taking part in a dog show is a great way to socialise your dog. They love it. It’s also a good way of promoting responsible dog ownership.

“We got involved in the Bolesworth Dog Show because we like to support events happening in our community and to encourage people to get out and about with their dogs. “
