Students in Helsby have been enjoying a week of French activities as part of a new language exchange.
HELSBY students have been enjoying a taste of France during a new language exchange this week.
After months of writing to their penpals in Lyon, France, teenagers at Helsby High School enjoyed trips out, lessons, and even living with their French friends.
The 32 students took their new found friends on trips to Liverpool and Chester before organising a special day for their visitors.
Working together the teenagers enjoyed activities including a photographic workshop, baking muffins, playing rounders and creating an article using their ICT skills.
The exchange, which is a new language scheme at the school was the result of an email penpal link which was established between the classes in Helsby and Lyon.
