Matt Baker to lead men’s singing workshop at Upton Village Hall

A BAKER day in Upton will have nothing to do with bread or former education secretary. The Baker Day on Saturday, April 9 is the opportunity for men to join a choir for a day.

The singing workshop, at Upton Village Hall, will be led by Matt Baker, musical director of the women’s choir A Handbag of Harmonies.

From 10am men will learn to sing in harmony before giving a concert.

The £20 entry fee includes a buffet lunch and a barrel of real ale.
