Japanese lecturers taking part in an exchange trip at Chester University were teaching as the earthquake hit

PROFESSORS visiting from Japan had no idea of the scale of the devastation which hit while they were teaching students in Chester.

When the earthquake hit on Friday (March 11) four professors from Japan were giving lecturers at Chester University.
