PROFESSORS visiting from Japan had no idea of the scale of the devastation which hit while they were teaching students in Chester.
When the earthquake hit on Friday (March 11) four professors from Japan were giving lecturers at Chester University.
The professors heard about the earthquake but had to continue teaching before finding out from family members the total devastation of the disaster.
The professors, who were visiting from Tokyo Gakugei University, were delivering two presentations on Performance and Education and Early Childhood Studies.
