Two arrested on suspicion of murder after man’s body found in car outside Blacon police station

TWO people have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man’s body was found in a car outside a Chester police station.

At around 7.50pm on Friday, March 11, police attended a house on Hawthorne Road, Frodsham.

A 20-year-old woman was arrested at the address.

In the early hours of Saturday a 22-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder after the body of a 49-year-old man was found in a car outside Blacon Police Station, Blacon Avenue, Chester.

The circumstances leading to the man's death are currently being established by police.

The victim's next of kin have been informed and a post mortem examination will take place in due course to establish the cause of death.

The identity of the man, who lived in Great Boughton, has not yet been formally announced.
