Chester cycle cafe sponsor promising young cyclist

A CYCLING cafe has sponsored a young rider as he competes for the 2011 season.

Eureka Cycle Sports, based Parkgate Road in Mollington, is a firm favourite with cyclists from across the UK and is often visited by professional athletes such as Chris Boardman.

Nathan Edmondson, a 21-year-old elite amateur cyclist from Pool-in-Wharfedale was supplied with a Scott Addict bicycle, race and training wheels and cycling kit.

Keith Peek of Eureka Cycle Sports and Cafe said: “We will be following his progress with regular updates and wish him the very best of luck for the 2011 season.”

Nathan added: “Most cyclists in Britain have heard of the Eureka cyclists cafe in Chester as it has been running for over 77 years.

“Keith and Anne are great guys and were kind enough to spend the day fuelling me on toasties and coffee before taking me for a bike ride in the surrounding countryside, and for a tour of their bike shop.

“I am excited to say that Scott bikes will be my sponsor for this season and I am really looking forward to my partnership with Eureka.”
