Two people taken to hospital after A41 rush hour crash in Chester

EMERGENCY services were called to a collision on the A41 at Waverton near to its junction with Quarry Lane at 9am this morning (Tuesday, March 8).

The collision involved a Hyundai and a BMW and casualties were taken to the Countess of Chester Hospital.

A police spokesman said; “Road closures were implemented at the Cheshire Cat on the A41 and at Sainsbury's roundabout to allow scene examination to take place.

“The road reopened at around 10.20am.”

Witnesses are asked to contact Chester Traffic Unit on 0845 458 0000.
