GIRLS at Chester Queen’s School have been on the hunt for good food.
Reception pupils visited Morrisons supermarket to buy ingredients for fruit salad.
The girls are learning about healthy eating as part of their understanding of the world.
Emily Cornelius said: “The mango was delicious and so was the pineapple.”
Key Stage 1 head Jan Callaghan added: “On return to school the girls used sharp knives to chop up the fruits selecting the best flavours to go together. Using the knives carefully under supervision helps the children to understand risk and danger better helping to keep them safe.”
