HUNDREDS of film fanatics were evacuated from a cinema in the middle of their shows.
Families enjoying a day out at the cinema during half-term were evacuated from Vue Cinema, at Cheshire Oaks, after the fire alarm went-off.
At 2.30pm on Wednesday, February 23, firefighters were called to the cinema complex after the fire alarm sounded.
The building, which contains 16 screens seating 3,542 people, was evacuated while firefighters inspected the building.
Crews from Ellesmere Port and Cheshire Fire and rescue attended the call, which was quickly identified as a false alarm.
