PART of Northgate Street in Chester will be reopened tomorrow after gas mains replacement works in the area comes to an end.
The scheme, between Hunter Street and George Street, has been ongoing since January 10 as part of a £20m, five year programme of investment in Chester's gas supply network.
The team will then be moving on to the next phase of works, between Hunter Street and Princess Street, on Monday. The new plastic mains will provide a safe supply for 80 years.
