Body found on Chester canal towpath

A body has been discovered on the canal towpath in Chester.

Police were called to Northgate Street at 1.05am on Thursday, February 10, where they found the body of a man, believed to be in his mid-30s.

A Cheshire Police spokeswoman said: “There do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.”
