Residents and staff at Florence Grogan care home in Blacon enjoy Bollywoodthemed event

VIBRANT colours and the spicy aromas of Bollywood filled the air at Florence Grogan House during an Indian-themed event.

Residents of the Blacon care home enjoyed a fun curry night and music quiz, while staff wore traditional Indian clothing and jewellery.

The outfits were on loan for the evening by friend of the home, Mrs Kashmir Kaur, post mistress at Blacon Post Office.

Activity coordinator Molly Kendall said: “The evening was a great success. I’d like to say thank you to Kashmir for kindly lending us her beautiful saris and jewellery, and for helping to make the event so special.”
