Man dies after collision on the A483

A LORRY driver has died after suffering serious injuries in a four-HGV collision on the A483.

On December 10, a four vehicle crash happened on the A483 Wrexham Road, south of the Post House roundabout on the Wrexham bound carriageway just before 7.20am.

The collision involved four HGVs and one casualty, a man in his 40s from the St Helens area, sustained serious injuries.

He was taken by air ambulance to Walton Hospital on Merseyside, but died of his injuries on Tuesday, December 21, 11 days after the incident.

One of the HGVs involved in the crash was carrying livestock.
