Lost little piggy taken in by Rossett animal sanctuary

A PIG who lost his way has found a temporary home at a horse sanctuary.

The pot-bellied porcine was picked up by police in Ganford Road in Rossett but it is believed that he originates from Dodleston and Eccleston.

Pamela Bluck of The Hack Horse Sanctuary in Rossett said: “We have to keep him in quarantine for three weeks but we are keen to trace his owners or find him a suitable home.”

The pig is about 18 inches high and could be about nine months old. He has a hole in his ear but no ID tag.

Pamela added: “We think he could have been sold as a micro-pig but he turned out not to be so micro after all.”

To help this little piggy find his way home, call Pamela on 01244 571524.
