Major Chester city centre bus lane closed

A MAJOR bus lane into Chester city centre has been shut after a bus collided with the rising bollard which prevents vehicles from using the route.
An Arriva service got trapped on top of the bollard near Frodsham Street this morning (Friday, November 12).
With the bollard being broken, Cheshire West and Chester Council have been forced to close the route and buses are being diverted.
A spokeswoman said: “We’re currently investigating the incident.”
