Serious accident on the A534 near Malpas

A SERIOUS car accident occurred on the A534 Broxton near Malpas shortly before 5pm on Friday.
The accident involved four saloon cars and a HGV and fire crews from Malpas and Wrexham had to cut two people free from two separate cars.
One casualty was taken to the Countess of Chester Hospital by ambulance and the Cheshire Police helicopter, which had to land in an adjacent field, was called to take the second casualty and a doctor to the Countess of Chester Hospital.
