ADVICE for teenagers learning to drive and their parents is available on the internet.
Lee Murphy, of the Cheshire Safer Roads Partnership, said: “Learning to drive is one of the most challenging experiences for both young road users and parents.
“Sadly, the statistics show that they are more likely to be involved in a collision than experienced road users.”
Young and newly qualified drivers and their parents are encouraged to visit the Going Solo website, www.goingsolouk.com, which provides a range of resources and information as drivers make the transition from learning to drive with a supervisor to solo driving.
