FAMILIES across Chester are being invited to take part in a national campaign to highlight the importance of reading.
The Big Family Book Day has been organised by Cheshire Libraries as part of the national Pages Ago campaign.
Families will be able to explore how history can be enjoyed through books.
The event will take place on Saturday (October 23) from 10am-4pm at Tatton Park and will feature guests including poet Craig Bradley, illustrator Matt Buckingham, storyteller Amy Douglas and author Jim Eldridge.
