Bid to widen path under rail bridge in Church Street in Frodsham

A CONCERNED resident has persuaded Frodsham Town Council to renew its campaign to widen the narrow footpath under the railway bridge in Church Street, Frodsham.
The Traffic Management Committee has requested another meeting with Cheshire West and Chester highways officers regarding the possibility of widening the footpath, following a call for action from resident Eric Brooks.
The committee agreed to raise the matter once again with Network Rail and the highways authority, but feared the cost “might be prohibitive.”
