Rotary Club of Frodsham and Helsby to host classic car show

A COLLECTION of classic motor cars will be on show at Frodsham Community Centre when the Cheshire Motor Show returns this weekend.

Organised by the Rotary Club of Frodsham and Helsby, the charity motor show will be held at the Fluin Lane community centre on Sunday (August 15) from 10am-4pm, with admission £3.50.

Rotary Club spokesman Andrew Lawless said: “The event this year promises to again be a great success with a wide variety of vehicles on display including classic, American, customised and special interest cars, plus commercial and agricultural vehicles, motorcycles and scooters.

“The organisers are hopeful of a few surprise entrants to make this a wonderful family day out.

“There will also be trade stands and a small funfair.

“Refreshments on sale will include tea and coffee, baked potatoes, a barbecue and a licensed bar.”
