Massive delays after lorry jackknifed and recovery truck overturned on A49

MOTORIST face big delays after a lorry jackknifed on the A49 at Spurstow, near Tarporley, at 4am this morning (Thursday).

The recover truck then overturned at the scene!

Nobody was injured but road closures are in place at the A49/A51 Red Fox traffic lights and the A49/A534 at Ridley.

There are big delays as a result of the build up of traffic and motorists are advised to seek alternative routes.
