Beeston man pleads guilty to class A drug posession

A BEESTON man has pleaded guilty to possession of Class A drugs and resisting arrest.

Billy Perks, aged 20, of Tattenhall Lane, appeared at Chester Magistrates Court facing two charges of possessing cocaine and one charge of resisting arrest by a police officer.

He had been caught with the drugs on June 16 by police officers.

The court heard how Perks is already subject to a suspended sentence which will be subsequently activated by these offences.

Pre-sentence reports are now to be prepared by the probation service and Perks will appear in front of a Chester Crown Court judge at a later date for sentencing.
