Woman taken to hospital after colliding with car near Hoole roundabout

A PEDESTRIAN has been taken to hospital with serious head injuries after colliding with a car near Hoole roundabout.
The collision happened just before 9am today (Wednesday, August 4).
Cheshire Police spokeswoman Shelly Williams said: “The collision involved a silver Volkswagen car and a female pedestrian.
“The pedestrian sustained serious injuries and has been taken to the Countess of Chester Hospital for treatment. The driver of the car was uninjured.
“There are road closures in place at Hoole Lane and Green Lane and motorists are advised to seek alternative routes where possible.”
