Frodsham and District Round Table saves firework display

A COMMUNITY bonfire and fireworks display held annually in Frodsham has been saved by the intervention of the Frodsham and District Round Table.

The popular event, which has been organised for many years by the Frodsham Community Association and held on the field at the town’s community centre in Fluin Lane, is one of the main fundraising events to help maintain the town’s community building.

After it was announced the Community Association was unable to organise the bonfire this year, the Round Table has saved the day and has successfully applied to use the town council-owned playing field for the event on November 5.
