Chester King’s Junior School stage Shakespeare classic

THE year 6 children at The King’s School Junior School have wowed audiences with their production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

All children in the year group had a part in the Shakespeare 4 Kidz musical interpretation of the play designed for children.

Teacher and director Vanessa Gibson observed the pupils working extremely hard to produce a performance of quality.

They were accompanied by a band of 15 Year 5 pupils, directed by teacher Barbara Roberts.

Other members of the teaching staff supported set design, front of house, costumes, etc.

Simon Malone, head of the junior school, said: “Every year the Year 6 pupils produce a wonderful performance. I have nothing but admiration for the quality and professionalism of the children involved.”
