Members of 1st Sandstone Scout Group receive their Chief Scout’s Bronze Award during visit from friends from Odessa in Ukraine

AN AWARDS ceremony had an international flavour after 1st Sandstone Scout Group hosted guests from Ukraine.
Thirteen members of the Sandstone Beavers achieved their Chief Scout’s Bronze Award after two years’ work.
Bickerton and Tattenhall Park Primary headteachers Paul Sweetnam and Laura Noble presented the awards.
It coincided with a visit of guests from Hope School in Odessa, Ukraine, which is twinned with Bickerton.
The group enjoyed games, a barbecue and lessons in Ukrainian culture.
