RAIN didn’t put off staff, students and families of Chester Catholic High School Chester enjoying A Big Lunch together on Sunday.
Dozens of picnickers took shelter in the school's Emmaus building and enjoyed a game of inflatable human table football in the sports hall before the sun came out to allow a friendly game of rounders.
The Big Lunch is a nationwide project to encourage neighbours to get together and the students hosted their lunch as part of a theme called ‘Who Is My Neighbour?’
Other Chester communities to host lunches were residents in the Garden Quarter, Kingsway and Newton.
