Pet owners invited to have their animals blessed at Churton Village Hall, near Farndon

ANIMAL lovers are being invited by a man of the cloth to have their pets blessed.

Rev David Scurr, from Farndon, will be hosting a pet blessing service at Churton Village Hall on Saturday, July 24, at 2pm.

Weather permitting, the service will take place outside and a collection will be held for the Cat Protection League and Erin Hounds.

Refreshments will be provided and winners of the Churton Garden Competition will be announced.

Organiser Charles Higgie said: “All animals are welcome. We hope people from Churton and Chronicle readers will attend.”
