Acresfield School in Upton celebrates success of Sports Week
A SPORTS week at Acresfield Primary School in Upton was hailed a great success.
Pupils from all year groups took part in a variety of activities, including bell boating on the Dee, street dance, football and athletics meets and even got to try out new badminton equipment.
The programme of events culminated in their annual sports day, which took place last Wednesday.
Sports organiser Helen O’Reilly said: “The children had a fantastic week. They took part in lots of exciting sports, which were run by members of staff and outside professionals.
“All pupils took part and had a fantastic time, enjoying the new activities and keeping fit.”
