Newton Primary School pupils get pedal power

ON YER BIKE: Pupils of Newton Primary School have got pedal power. The Year 5 pupils have successfully completed a six-week Let’s Bike It course. Organised by Cheshire West and Chester Council, the course aims to teach basic skills to young cyclists including: road and personal safety, good behaviour when cycling, basic Highway Code rules, cycle maintenance and safety. The course was led by Naomi Cassidy, police community support officer based at Blacon Police Station. Pictured with Naomi are a group of successful Year 5 pupils.
