Man dies in Chester following collision between motorbike and car

A MAN riding a motorcycle has died in a collision on Sealand Road in Chester.

The accident happened about 4.25pm yesterday (Sunday, July 4) on Sealand Road at its junction with Bumpers Lane, near to the retail park.

Two vehicles were involved - a black Honda motorcycle and a blue Ford Focus.

The rider of the motorcycle, a local middle aged male, suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital where he later died.

Cheshire Police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or any driving/riding prior to the incident to make contact with Chester Roads Policing Unit on 01244 613163.
