Chester sculptor Andy Longmuir has artwork stolen

A CHESTER sculptor has had a piece of artwork worth £200 stolen.

Andy Longmuir’s steel tubing sculpture of a running hare was removed from a display outside the Down to a Fine Art gallery in Stretton, near Farndon, at the beginning of May. The gallery has since closed.

Other examples of Andy’s work can be seen in Chester, including at the Baha’i garden in Grosvenor Park. He is known for his bespoke handcrafted steel representations of people, animals and woodland creatures.

If you know of the whereabouts of the hare, call 01244 660509 or email aplsculptures@gmail.com.
