THE fun was put into fundraising at the Frog & Nightingale pub in Chester.
Keen fundraisers Claire Taylor and Danielle Marsh organised a fun day at the Canal Side pub to raise £168.29 for the RNLI (Royal National Lifeboat Institution).
The day-long event featured stalls, live music and games Splat the Rat, guess the sweets, cake stalls and name the bear.
Danielle said: “The amount raised was a real credit to what was such a successful event, not only for the lovely community spirit but also a brilliant opportunity for talented local artists and musicians to showcase their work.”
The RNLI is a life saving service that receives no Government funding and relies on volunteers to crew its lifeboats.
