Overleigh St Mary’s CE pupils get Rhino Mania
nTALENTED young artists have used inks, acrylics, marker pens and their imagination to create a stunning new rhino for Chester’s Rhino Mania event in July.
The youngsters, Year 6 pupils from Overleigh St Mary’s CE Primary School in Handbridge, have named their rhino Lurking in the Leaves.
Teacher Deborah Forrest said: “Our rhino will be exhibited in the nature section of the Grosvenor Museum so our design includes leaves and insects.
“We’ve used different textures and everyone was very keen to paint his bottom!”
About 20 children were involved in the project.
