Chester choir A Handbag of Harmonies celebrates a decade of song

A CHESTER choir is celebrating 10 years of song at the city’s newly refurbished Town Hall.
A Handbag of Harmonies presents DeCadence, an anniversary concert, on Saturday, June 19, at 7.30pm, as part of Chestival.
Musical director Matt Baker said: “The concert will be a journey from humble beginnings to our very latest work.”
The choir was recently awarded a Choral Ambition grant from the BBC Performing Arts Fund to help develop work for the birthday celebration.
