FARNDON and District Brass Band will officially open Tarvin Fun Day on Saturday to raise funds for charity.
The event kicks off at 1pm at Tarvin Methodist Church on the High Street.
Enjoy games, tombolas, stalls and a barbecue and all the proceeds will go to the Railway Children charity, working for the runaway and abandoned children who live in or around the world’s railway stations.
Earlier in the day, from 9.30am, there will be a coffee morning at the church.
Contact Emma Greenwood, organiser, on 01829 741160 or 07933 738682 for details, quotes and pics. For information on the charity visit www.railwaychildren.org.uk.
