Chester Queen’s School’s Jennie Reynolds to tour with Holiday on Ice

A QUEEN’S School pupil is looking forward to a holiday on ice after her A-levels next year.

Jennie Reynolds, of Chester, has landed a role in the world’s largest touring ice show Holiday on Ice.

Jennie, 18, started skating at the age of five and trains at Deeside Leisure Centre with Penny Hebden and at Blackburn Ice Arena with Dawn Spendlove.

Both coaches have toured with Holiday on Ice for several years.

She said: “Skating has been my hobby for 12 years and I am competing at Junior Ladies level.

“It has been my ambition to skate with a professional ice show.”

Jennie hopes to join the show after completing her A-levels in the summer of 2011, prior to applying to university to study medicine.
