Belgrave Primary School parents on the run for funds
BELGRAVE Primary School parents are on the starting blocks for a racy fundraiser.
Janine and Nick Stark, Ruth Smith, Peter Wagennaar, Shaun Mohan and Mark Spaven ran around the Westminster Park School with pupils in advance of Sunday’s Chester half-marathon, which they plan to run to raise school funds.
Children in Year 2 completed maths activities linked to marathon distances.
The PTA team will be sponsored to run the race and the money raised will be used to develop the schoo’'s library and cooking area. The children will be at race on Sunday with special banners to support the runners.
