Three Cheshire men arrested after reports of suspicious behaviour in Little Budworth

THREE men from Winsford have been arrested after a member of the public reported seeing people acting suspiciously in Little Budworth.

The three, aged 26, 46 and 40 were stopped in a car by officers at 8.45am on Tuesday (April 27) after a member of the public called police to say a group of men were acting suspiciously in the area.

The three were arrested and charged with taking a vehicle without the owners consent and going equipped to steal. They are due to appear at Northwich Magistrates Court on May 20.

Insp Phil Hodgson of the Western Rural Neighbourhood Policing Team said: “I would encourage anyone who has information about crime in their area or suspects people of committing crime, to contact the police and report it.”
